David Morales new infrastructure director at Marina d’Or
GAT is living an extraordinary moment. Our company is experiencing a moment of expansion and growth with the entry of new projects to the portfolio.
In the last quarter of 2020 we took on an important challenge; the co-management of the popular family resort Marina d’ Or located in Oropesa del Mar on the Azahar coast of Castellón. A very popular destination for the national family tourist that faces a process of reinvention through the professionalised management of GAT, where we will contribute our experience and knowledge in the sector. And of course through the incorporation and reorganisation of human capital, the talent resource that is so important in the customer-focused service sector.
Today we introduce you to David Morales, our new infrastructure director.
With a degree in Industrial Engineering and more than 12 years of experience in the engineering department of Marina d’Or Hotels, he has a wide experience in singular engineering projects such as the cogeneration plant, osmosis plant, as well as in hotels and housing construction, without forgetting his great knowledge in energy management and the functioning of the electricity and gas markets.
We want to know how this new professional stage is going for David.
“Although I was already working in Marina d’Or in its engineering department, my incorporation to the position of infrastructure manager in the project ahead of us is both a personal and professional challenge. We will work with the aim of making MD one of the leading resorts in our country”.
What are the most immediate tasks you are facing at the moment?
“We are carrying out a series of projects within the project with the aim of updating and improving the infrastructures so that the clients who visit us enjoy them with the maximum safety and comfort, and are eager to visit us again. It is a new and different time for the resort and this is also transmitted very well with the physical experience in the physical environment, buildings and facilities, parks that are part of our resort”.
Give us the reasons why, in your opinion, no one should miss their appointment with Marina d’Or this coming summer.
“In Marina d’Or you can find everything you need to spend a few days of relaxation and fun for both families and couples. The amusement parks are ideal for the young and the not so young, and the largest salt water spa in Europe is an ideal place to relax. The 5*, 4* and 3* hotels provide all the comforts and services you need for an unforgettable holiday”.
So, if you want to see for yourselves what’s new at Marina d’Or that David is telling us about, keep an eye on what we have to tell you from our GAT channels and from the resort itself. Together we are building a new version of an international holiday reference
