Our DoubleTree by Hilton exhibition and art venue

An invitation to Active Tourism, this time through local art and culture.
The beautiful corners of this hotel in Islantilla begin a new stage of artistic activities with painting as the protagonist. The Resort, which has always stood out for its firm commitment to innovation, once again highlights the attributes of the destination and opens its doors to the art of Carmen Sánchez Ruda.

The exhibition, which will be located in the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel, is entitled ‘Miscelánea, pensando en femenino’ (Miscellaneous, thinking in feminine) and is a journey through the wide variety of themes that have been the subject of her inner thoughts during her confinement.

The result of a year of work, the exhibition is a walk through nature, courtyards, flowers and greenery as the protagonists of this plastic reflection in pandemic reflected through the 20 works that compose it and that can be enjoyed on display until 12 September.

The artist from Ayamonte, who has extensive experience in individual and group exhibitions as well as in the restoration of works of art, transmutes the darker side of confinement through the works that make up this exhibition, promoting this encounter with nature in order to respond to a difficult moment in the universe.
